SAND FESTIVAL IN BUSAN 2019

well, for this time i'll post my blog in english since thing that i am going to post is about an event in busan that might attract foreigner / tourist attention to come to busan.

I already know about this festival since last year when i studied korean languange in one of university in seoul (it appear in our book). I wanna go that time but the time was not good enought to go to busan (cause i was still in beginner level that time kkkk and not sure if i can speak korean well~)
Finally this year....
i can go and enjoy the festival *yeay*🏝. This festival called haeundae sand festival 2019. Yes, it is held in haeundae beach that is really famous with its white sand beach, nice view (skyscraper around the beach), and a lot of attraction near it. I went to the festival with my korean friend that happened to speak bahasa slightly. At first we enjoyed the parade festival participated by some korean group such as dance club,   Korean traditional music club, etc. the parade was held on the street to haeundae beach, so everyone who passed the street going to festival will see this parade *good positioning*
the weather is also pretty cool to be called as "early summer".
FYI : busan weather is warmer than seoul on winter and cooler than seoul on summer ! 👏🏼

  after enjoying the parade which interesting enough, we go straight to the main festival.
well, as we expected there were a lot of people. not only koreans but also foreigners, not only to enjoy the festival but also to enjoy the beach. right after we arrived at the location, there were much people that doing sun-bathing at the seashore while kids playing and made sandcastle. it indeed remind me about my country where beaches are one of our best attraction for tourism. but here in busan, i feel another feeling that keep me amaze with the atmosphere.

there was a main stage right on the beach to entertain the visitors performing music, traditional performance, and also there were korean artist (i think it is bewhy and others) sorry dont really know korean entartainer's name...

we went to see all the sand sculptures that already made by several artists from several countries. this year theme was about music. so the artists made a sculpture inspired by some famous singer in the world such as beyonce, queen, bob marley, etc.. 🎼

not only that, we can also see how the artist made the sculpture. there was an artist that still trying to fix his art so the visitors that walking around could also see this rare view.

after see all the sand sculptures, we are heading to the main stage again to see the performances. the committee also provides chairs for the visitors.

everyone looks very happy to welcoming summer which means time for beach festival. start from child, teenager, adult, even old person all in the vibes of enjoying this festival. 

at the last night of the festival there were also fireworks party at the beach. 

this is might be one of your bucket list when you wanna visit south korea and come to busan! this festival commonly open on may when the weather is really nice to enjoy the nature (transition from spring to summer). so excited to see what's busan would offer to me again ahead.
